  1. It should be required that all walk off home runs be accompanied by that music from The Natural.

But there's always something special about your first.... (I just teed that one up for Fman) Later Wait, did a 20 year old Puerto Rican woman who was the super hot sister of my high school friend catch this ball? OK, just checking.
  3. What a fuckin dick.
  4. Pelfrey 2 Igarashi .5 Valdes .5 Wright 2 Bay 1 Carter 2 Cora 1 Pagan 1
  5. Thanks CO. I'd recommend you take a long look at Westbrook this week... he's bound to at least be a trade-deadline-to-the-Mets rumor subject come late July.
  6. I agree. Bring on the doormats!
  7. Love the not-even-close-after-7 road game.
  8. Takahashi 4 PFeliciano .5 Rodriguez .5 Reyes 1.75 Francoeur 1.75 Wright 1 Tejada .5

  10. From The 'Ropilitans: "New Yorker Lady Gaga. Shes a lifelong fan whose family bleeds Yankee pinstripes. As she told MTV News, Gaga believes her approach to pumping out hit song after hit song and outrageous performance after outrageous performance is not unlike [Mariano] Riveras approach to closing out a tight game." MTV News As if Gaga weren't obnoxious enough. She's a YLC. And if you have to ask me what those letters stand for, well, go back and read some of my old posts.
  11. The box score, for those of you who need it. Niese 6 Wright 1 Davis 1 Francoeur 1 Reyes .5 Carter .5
  12. I don't know. I do like to use the Google though.
  13. To The Lobby To Get Ourselves A Treat![/bigpurple]
  14. I'd like to feed Eckstein to the bear that MM sees on his runs.

But if the Nationals pitch him every 5th day, as Boswell says they will, then he'll pitch on July 3. You said the exact same thing twice here. I have tickets for the July 4th matinee in D.C. Hopefully he's not pitching and I can see the Mets wail on some crumbum instead.
  16. The more recent one I was thinking of is Cincy's Johnny Cueto, who went 7 IP, giving up only a single solo HR to Justin Upton, no walks and 10 K against the D-Backs opening week 2008.
  17. I seem to recall Cora bunting for a single sometime in the last week, when the third baseman was playing back. Having said that, your primary bunting culprit is on the disabled list right now. When he comes back, and Tejada gets sent back down, the bunting shall commence again methinks. I have been operating on the assumption that Castillo bunts on his own, in any situation where there's a runner on first and less than two outs. He almost looks saddened when he has to swing and try and put a ball in play.
  18. Two games in one day! I approve.
