  1. I got one new owner so there is still one slot available if wanted.
  2. I am the commish of a league that has been in existence since 2001, consisting of current and former coworkers of mine as well as friends brought in by previous owners. There's a $65 buy in, plus three optional $5 mini pools that pay out to the first team with an active player that 1. hits for the cycle, 2. hits 3 HRs in a game, or 3. throws a no hitter, so $80 maximum buy in. Payout is 65%/25%/10% for the top 3 slots. We keep five players at the round they were drafted in last year and only allow 1 keeper from the first four rounds, to circulate talent back into the draft each year, and have a two time keeper limit, so every player returns to the draft at least once every 3 years. Full league rules and info found here. Mixed league, 5x5 roto scoring, Yahoo for league management. http://nateshouse.no-ip.biz/fbl/2015.html We had two owners (out of 13) drop out that played last year and so I am looking for at least one new owner and possibly two. If we only get one we'd allow them to pick 5 keepers from both abandoned rosters as well as get the better of the two draft slots (3rd overall and in all odd numbered rounds, serpentine style). If two are interested the first one to speak up would get choice. We email draft the first 10-11 rounds between March 6-20 and then finish with a live online draft, on Saturday 3/21 at 5 PM. A few owners will come over to draft at the house but most do it remote via email, AIM chat or by sending me pre-ranked lists if they are not available. It's a fun league and it'd be great to get someone from this site to join the fun. Payment made via check or Paypal. Any interest? Respond or send me a PM if so.

He's slicker than his daddy's hair.
  4. Winning bid went to Pittsburgh. I don't think he'll pan out as a star in the states but that could just be sour grapes.
  5. I'd like to have my way with that promotional beach towel.
  6. The entire topic is asinine.
  7. I hope this story goes on, just like this, for months and months. A-Rod is in "unbelievable shape." Yankees have to "anticipate the worst."

  9. Chico Escuela would approve.
  10. I hate the off season.

  12. I can't ever get these. There's some part of my brain that doesn't add up the pieces.
  13. d'Kong76 wrote: Good riddance! Seriously. I'm tired of watching this a-hole go yard against the good guys.
  14. Lucas Duda, starting in LF tonight. I know it's on a tape delay, I don't care. Baseball is on TV. No score, top of the 2nd.

  16. Going to drink red wine and then take a shit in Jimmy Qualls' driveway.
  17. These are way more fun when you don't have a player in mind. Keep em guessing!

Yabbut I conflate them all into the category of "guys who were passable MLB outfielders and then came to Queens and sucked a million billion ethnic penises all lined up in a row."

I'd have him-- and maybe Panik-- ahead of Wong. Fboy asked if we could watch the live presentation of the award tonight and jumped up and down when they announced DeGrom as the winner. He said, "Now, at least, I know I'll be able to get a DeGrom jersey shirt next year!" as he wanted one this past summer but we could not find them at Citi. Also, he was wondering why D'Arnaud wasn't a finalist and I told him, incorrectly, that he didn't qualify because he had played too many games in the pros in 2013. Like I know what the fuck I'm talking about.
  20. I like it but I'm nervous. Free agent outfielder signings make me nervous. It's post-Bay-Burnitz trauma syndrome, I think.

  22. Good Lord, Joe Buck. Shut the fuck up. Why say ten words when you could say 50, repeated brainlessly, for 3.5 hours?
  23. Game 1 not until Tuesday. BOOOOOO
