    Unlike years' past, where Fboy and I buy a pair of seats months ahead of time so that we can put it on the calendar, this year we're going to wait and watch the schedule and pick a game where Harvey or deGrom are pitching, as Fboy wants to see one of them on the hill. Still likely to be a weekday matinee or a Saturday game for ease of scheduling/travel.

    I hope that's not the case. My argument against it is that it dumbs down the managing of the game. Where's the strategy without double switches and pinch hitting? It's so dull. My compromise would be, if forced upon us, that you only get to keep your DH as long as your starting pitcher remains in the game. Then, once you pull the SPs, you also pull the DH. Keeps the strategy intact and gets more jobs. This would work if combined with an expansion of the rosters.

    I am fine with it. My big pet peeve is road jerseys that have the team name instead of the city/state. That, to me, is sacrosanct. The Mets road black uniforms that had the big METS script across the front always bothered me, while I was fine with the road blacks as long as they had the nice block NEW YORK lettering. Road uniform = city name Home uniform = team name/logo
