  1. So I had to look this "Netflix and Chill" phrase up, because I'm 42 and I don't know what the kids are talking about. But this sounds like one hell of a promo. I am down for whatever.
  2. Zombie Yogi hits .330 and says hysterical wacky undead things.
  3. He's got 20 games played at 1B in the minors across parts of 2012-2014 in AA and AAA. I suppose he's got all of spring training to polish off his skills.
  4. But at the same time, you've got Tejada and Flores projected on the roster, and no one to back up at 1B (assuming Flores can play a passable 3B to spell Wright, or Cabrera or Walker can). So who backs up Duda? And doesn't that person get Tejada's job? I'm hoping my new favorite back up 1B is 2016's darling, Not-Eric-Campbell.

I hadnt realized the season ticket plan is so limited: 20 games or dick; and still no word yet on the Kids Club, as though they're trying to funnel folks like me (we did 4 or 5 Sunday games last year) into buying a fullblown Sunday plan. Efff u, Jeff. Anyway, looks like my brother and I are going in for our own plan: It's Called the Every-Tuesday-Night-Without-Repeat-Opponents-10-Gamer. Damn, that's a bitchin' sounding plan right there. I wish I could easily get to the Citi on a Tuesday without a two day life disruption.
  6. Cespeses is a Latino 30 - which means he may be 2-3 years older than advertised. I think there's less uncertainty about players' real ages when they are born here in the states (Zobrist is from Illinois).
  7. Going to be in south FL March 18-25 and likely soaking up a Mets game in Port St Lucie on one of the three home dates during that stretch, either Sunday/Monday March 20/21 or Thursday March 24. My first ever Mets Grapefruit League home game (I saw them play the Nats in Melbourne a few years ago). Any CPF mini-reunions are welcome! Also any advice on seating as my wife and son need shade in order to not combust in the heat and sunshine.
  8. Right, but who spells Duda against a tough lefty or to give him a day off after he's gone 0-38?
  9. Bulky rings with dozens of diamonds, that make typing and guitar playing more difficult.
  10. We're putting the band back together!
  11. Yeah that's a PR buttfuck, if the Mets let both Muffy and Cespy end up in DC. Even a shitmouthed Wilpon would have to see that.
  12. I hate the DH.
  13. I would love to see Yo come back on a short term deal. I just don't see how he doesn't cash in while he can.
  14. Jesus, I may come in off the ledge for this.
  15. 1
  16. I just pushed it to 8-7 by voting for the Jacks. That's just a home run swing right there.
  17. I'd build the Tom Seaver Rotunda and ship all the #42 stuff out to the Cyclones park where it belongs. I'd also add a top deck to Citi so that it could hold another 15k fans. Lastly, I'd make sure to go out drinking and partying with the guys on the team so as to be able to bang MLB hanger on pole dancing types that some of my board mates here would so frivolously discard. BASTARDS.

They were getting ready to start one for you (see the Red Light thread in this forum). Later Seriously. This resource room needs it's best hall monitor, otherwise, it's a poo flinging tard fest here.
  19. Throwing this out there again, as we've had two owners depart and therefore have two slots available. Join a FFL league with Ceetar and I and 9 people you don't know and earn a chance to win big! Most rules remain unchanged, though we bumped the price up to $85. I think Ceetar would attest that it's a good league. PM me here or on FB if interested.
  20. 1 (Price is Right strategy)
  21. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: I'm like Muffy's weakest supporter ever and this still fills me with regret and dread. Because he's in the division, I'd say the same. Nineteen games per year gives him plenty of chances to park balls over the Whatever-To-Be Porch.
  22. High def broadcasts of every Met game, satellite radio carrying MLB audio everywhere I go, Citi Field. And (on the topic in general) fantasy/rotisserie baseball sites that compute all the stats for you for free.
  23. Relievers routinely pitching 2-3 innings at a shot. The hit and run play.
  24. Loved his stuffing.
  25. I like it. Murph was never coming back -- and Niese had no role on the 2016 roster, assuming that they wanted to bring Bart back before making the deal.
