Sometimes last second considerations require a redistribution of points. Seconded as a "would be useful" request. Okay, I found an easy way to do this. When you vote on Friday's game, check out the new "Check My Math" button that's to the left of the "Submit" button. Awesome, thanks man!
  2. Game time! Rusty looks good out there raising the flag.
  3. I love the minor league team, sure, they are Mets of a sort. The park? Meh. We made our first trip there in March and I was underwhelmed by it. The sight lines were nice, but it's really a no frills kind of place. Minimal amount of snack options and no Mr. Met. We get a much better night of baseball here in the 'Cuse for our AAA games than we did in PSL, and for less money to boot.

You need to teach your kid to ride the 7 train. As long as John Rocker's not in her car, she'll pull through. Parents always underestimate the survival instinct.
  6. This has been a tortuous week of waiting for me. I have watched a ton of other MLB games just to fill the void.

The last two DVR options I've had automatically give me the option of extending the recording past the allotted window on any program that's marked 'Live' which is a must-use option if you don't think you're going to "catch up" before the ending. And if you don't have that option you simply record whatever program is scheduled for the next window on that channel and maybe even the next after that one. Baseball is too unpredictable in length. I set the DVR from work on my phone app, which does not present an option to extend the recording. I only thought of recording the next show much later in the day, too late to capture the ending. Oh well. Live and learn.
  9. The DVR plan mostly worked out -- except that I could only set it for the 3 hour window that SNY had, and so I was not able to get the bottom of the 9th. Having said that, the K of Morales on three sliders was great. Gives the Mets some good vibes to take back to the Citi with them.
  10. Several days from now, the Mets will attempt to win a home game. Jacob deGrom will toe the mound if he's not busy wearing a male's breastfeeding contraption. Jerad Eickhoff, hailing from Made-Up-Name, Tennessee, will toe the hill for the Philths. I will be working from home so as to watch, or, that is my hope at least.
  11. Benjamin Grimm wrote: You're welcome! I was figuring that this would reduce participation but if it does the opposite all the better! It's all right there, now, I don't have to start a new thread, or find a box score, as the stats are all there. Just plug in my votes and submit. Seems way easier to me. As long as the link gets posted to the IGT after each game I hope to vote on as many games as possible this year.

This is why God invented TiVo (or other DVR method of your choice). I am actually going to try this -- usually my disincentive is fantasy baseball related, I have to log on between 6:30 and 7 to set my lineup, and then I generally also see the score of the game when doing so -- but my lineup is already all set, since there are enough teams not playing today. DVR is set.
  13. Super easy. I predict it will allow me to vote more often. Thanks BG

At Stanford University, Mendoza was a four-time First Team All-American for the Stanford Cardinal from 1999–2002, and was a member of the United States women's national softball team from 2004–2010. She played professionally in National Pro Fastpitch. Mendoza owns numerous Cardinal records. She is currently a member of the broadcast team for ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball. Respected network counterpart sings praises for Jessica Mendoza I sung her praises, too, only, some folks got all panty-snitted about it.

  16. Made me lament every upcoming game this year not being called by GKR.
  17. Tuesday 4 PM start time, which more or less fucks up every errand I have to run between those hours. Syndergaard vs Mets castoff/gargantuan pituitary case Chris Young.
  18. 1010 is DeAza, on to PH here in the 9th.
  19. The Mets lost. I was sad.
  20. Walker beats it out to get another run in. 4-3 and it's a game again.
  21. Duda with the knock! Tying runs on base.
  22. It's time for the Dude.
