  1. Raul Gonzalez. Daniel "Dropkick" Murphy, of course
  2. Also first day of work for this handsome devil image hosting
  3. Attending my 4th Syracuse Mets game of the season. My wife and daughter have yet to attend any since it's always 53 and cloudy here. Ronny Mauricio playing third and batting second. Brandon Sproat on the bump.
  4. My quality of life has improved drastically since I quit that site. Fuck those who own it and those who post to it.

Soto seems to be going through the same thing. Said this very thing to someone over the weekend. First year, big contract, big city. It happens.

  7. Definitely a made up Met. Memory zero of this guy
  8. Why'd the announcer say "no chance"? I thought that an accurate throw woulda had the runner easily. I thought that too. Well hit ball, a good thrown on target and they get him. I went to bed when the grand slam was hit
  9. =Gwreck post_id=192646 time=1747230757 user_id=56] Old friend Javy Baez had two three run homers yesterday for Detroit, the second of which came to walk it off in the 11th after Houston had scored twice in the top of the inning. Baez is hitting .319/.357/.513 as the everyday center fielder for the Tigers. Detroit remains tied with the Mets for the best record in MLB.
  10. =kcmets post_id=192963 time=1747528731 user_id=53] I saw no umpire interference, he was still as a statue. Unless he was hovering over the catcher more on that pitch, which I doubt, Mets got a lucky gift call there. Good teams are lucky, let's roll...
  11. =kcmets post_id=192918 time=1747508609 user_id=53] Not sure I've ever seen an 'umpire interference' call like the negated double steal in the bottom of the sixth.
  12. I missed nearly all of it due to a gig. But I also feel like maybe that's OK given the outcome
  13. This is of course what makes them YLDBs. That's not new in 2025.
  14. I guess I never noticed. I read all these comments in passing, really, without giving them so much thought. It's fun to read about the Mets.
  15. Frayed Knot wrote: Buck Owens is already in several, including the Country Music HoF and the Nashville Songwriters HoF Yeah I think I meant Buck Weaver
  16. Why are you such a cranky dickhead all of the time? Do you have a rashy bottom? I don't get it.
  17. Frayed Knot wrote: Vientos's glove needs to be benched. I missed this during the game but caught the replay this morning. How does he not switch out his glove? The ball went right through it !
  18. I'm happy that [CROSSOUT]John Cusack[/CROSSOUT] Buck Owens will finally get some HoF consideration.
  19. Luis Lopez
  20. Well the Pirates have a Korean OF with a mullet so they're winning at that at least
  21. Nunez is terrifying out there. He really does not seem to know where the ball is going. Three outs left to get. Some cushion here'd be good
  22. They are. Lord help us
  23. Quite the slide there by Acuna. I thought he was a dead duck
