    An interesting idea, but they don't pay closers $35 million a year. I'm beginning to think deGrom won't throw a pitch this season. His body does not seem to be able to handle the stress he puts on it, and every time it seems like it's something different that's breaking down.

    Only one Mets game on Peacock+ this year, 6/26 against the Marlins. And the games start at noon. So if they think that'll be enough to pay 5 bucks a month, they can osculate my Peacock. Baseball is literally doing everything they possibly can to drive fans away.

    Poop happens. Go get 'em tomorrow, Mets. This wasn't a case of poor situational hitting, it was a case of no hitting at all. Mama said there'd be days like this. But, break's over; they better pound them tomorrow because the Giants are going to be a tough test for this team. Buck could have pitched Megill tomorrow on regular rest due to the off day, but he's choosing to start him against Frisco. Peterson has a chance to make a name for himself here if he wants it.
