  1. Thole stepped on second so hard Tim should have noticed his swizzle stick vibrating.
  2. Bay as productive in June as he was in May.
  3. Gee throws a devastating pitch that makes him look foolish, then throws one that Yogi Berra could hit out of the park. Grr.
  4. David says, "That's a double at Citi."
  5. Jeter's calling balls and strikes, too, apparently.
  6. "So Johan, do you think Derek Jeter is the greatest player ever?"
  7. Did Swisher really climb the wall on Q's homer? He only missed catching it by, oh, 150 feet.
  8. Jeter being on the bases means they can talk about him all inning. "He's such a great guy-he says nothing every day!"
  9. McCarver clinking the ice cubes in his scotch glass as he rambles on about Bryce Harper in the All-Star game despite the fact he doesn't deserve it by any stretch. And a great play by Wright goes unremarked on.
  10. Ike with his monthly hit.
  11. I'm betting Gee takes a jackhammer with him next inning to work on that mound.
  12. Non-stop fellating of The Captain. Sheesh.
  13. Buck, matching McCarver cocktail for cocktail, calls him 'David' Murphy.
  14. You know they can't resist.
  15. Ike barking at the umpire as he strikes out. Dude, you're hitting .160. Shut the @#$% up.
  16. Cano left no doubt about that one. Hairston never moved.
  17. Not a lot of love for that critical Pirates-Royals matchup.
  18. Man wishing to buy porkpie hat finds that, in a cruel ironic twist worthy of Dostoyevsky, first he must Feed The Pig.
  19. Awesome. The Centaur will haunt my dreams all weekend. Raissman's article was stupid, but I couldn't help but wonder what kind of a call Sterling would do for a Duda home run.....would he really sing 'Camptown Races'? I'm guessing he would, since he already channels his inner Sammy Davis every time Granderson hits a dinger.
  20. Less scary than the Mets bullpen.
  21. Ike's defense is slumping along with his bat. I do think the Valley Fever is affecting both. He has to go down because he's killing the team. I imagine they'll keep him around through the Yankee series because there's the Little League dimensions in RF for him to aim at. But after that, it's addition by subtraction. Duda played first last season for a good stretch, and while he's no Keith Hernandez, he wasn't horrendous either. Rottino spells him on tough lefty days. Ike either gets his act together in Buffalo or they send him home to take antibiotics and get prepared for next year. He's just an albatross right now.
