  3. Who's Max? Have I forgotten an element of the Magnaverse? My baby boy - a big part of my universe:
  4. 1. You are driving a: 1984 Ferrari 308 GTSi 2. You are wearing: red, hawaiian "jungle bird" shirt, way-too-tight jeans 3. And of course, the shoes are: docksiders, no socks 4. As you get closer, reporters can hear instrumental music composed by Mike Post and Pete Carpenter blasting from your speakers. 5. Pulling in, they look in your passenger seat and see: Max 6. You turn off your engine, get out, and say: "Hi guys"
  5. The problem I'm going to have with the racing stripe jersey will be the implementation on the 2016 style of jersey. From what I've read, this season, all jerseys will have a triangle-shaped mesh fabric leading to the belt line from under the armpit. this will mean no pinstripes or stripes on the sides. On Edit: Not triangle shaped, but a long strip down the side: http://www.uni-watch.com/2016/01/29/a-big-day-for-mlb-uniforms/ These are the new Majestic Flex Base uniforms that will debut in spring training.

They start with a naked picture of Suzyn Waldmann and put a small piece of clothing on it with every victory. Later This makes me think of, "It looks like I have Oscar Gamble in a leg lock, in fact." Damn you F-Man...
  7. Mrs. Walters looks like she could be the new Mrs. Hoch's sister.
  8. Hey, I own a bowling alley, and still got the babe.
  9. Wow - thanks, wolfie - I'll go through my 2015's tonight when I get home.

I think buying a variety of packs gives you the best percentage of card variablity. I can tell you that in the brick packs the correlated batch flipped to an upside down card every 4 cards or so. I'm used to seeing a dozen cards or more before the flip, so that tells me they are mixing them much better. But of course, that's only within that batch. I should go back and see if there are any brick packs left of that same batch. Baseball cards don't sell like hot cakes around here. With those 72 card bricks (a stack of 72 cards wrapped in clear plastic inside a box that's like 4 times the size of the stack) I treat the cards like a bunch of packs. I'll look at 15 of em and then put the stack down. Pick it up an hour later and look at 15 more. Yea, I'm nutz. Nah - It took me two weeks to open the last 2015 box I bought. I would open two packs at a time, and leave the rest. As for collation, I've noticed that I get needed cards in groups of 3, which is interesting...

  15. I was going to say that the collation was pretty good after I opened the two 72 count boxes I bought on Saturday, which resulted in no doubles (!). Then I bought another 72 count box yesterday. 36 cards were doubles...

  17. I got 2 of those 72 card boxes (10$). I don't think I like these if the cards come all in one stack (just looked, they do, gah-better not be any doubles). I like the individual packs that come boxed. But this was all they had boxwise. I just picked up a couple of these boxes. I felt it was a no brainer - 144 cards for $20, or a 100 card box for $20... The baseball season seems just a little closer now:

And it's not just because she's easy on the eyes. Even the way she eats her green meal on Jakku is compelling. If you asked me before the movie, who is worthy of taking over the Falcon, I would have said no one. Never. Impossible. But when she did it, it was seamless. When she called that lightsaber, it made you want to stand up and cheer. This made me think of a possibly apocryphal story regarding Harrison Ford: A director once said to him, "The minute you saw Tony Curtis on screen, playing a grocery delivery boy, you knew he was going to be a star," to which Ford replied, "I thought he was supposed to be a grocery delivery boy."
  23. I agree with the Murph Newsday cover. It's very clean, and looks more like a magazine cover than a newspaper cover
