The Mets can't be letting the Braves hang close like this.

Cripes, Morton is a completely different pitcher.

An error and a smash and our lead is nearly dashed. A ball coming right at you, especially without much rotation, can futz with your depth perception.

The SNY director is enjoying shooting the cannoli ladies.

Here's to run manufacturing.

That foul dubble called fair is the only hit Peterson has been tagged for.

Probably. Morton isn't really executing anything. Probably one swing away from an exit.

A couple of rough calls in that inning. I think that's a good sign of whether a young pitcher will stick — do crappy calls break him or not.

McNeil whiffs, tipping the ball into the catcher's mitt. Legally, the same thing as a swing and miss, but still not a swing and miss.

Chasing the starter early in Game One of a double header is gold. I'm not sure the Mets have had a swing and miss yet. Canha struck out looking on a pitch that probably didn't touch the zone.

Mets on the board in the first. Not quite sure how Lindor didn't go first to third. He wasn't being held.

Morton's curve sure looks trackable so far.

I too always want to be number 9. Forever.

Mets winless in the post-Canó era.

Mets 0-2 without Showalter. FIRE DICK SCOTT!!

Well, KJ is throwing a lot of pitches.

Good time for McNoolie to get bunty again.

Woulda pinch-hit for JD this time also.

How did Shmescobar not beat that one out?

The Braves are also determined to beat the Mets with a brigade of lefthanders.

McHugh, d'Arnaud, and now Guillermo Heredia. The Braves are determined to beat the Mets with Mets tonight.

It's amazing to hear d'Arnaud's swing described as "short and quick to the ball."

May is aiming the ball.

Alonso can make up for that ballhoggery with the bat in the bottom half of the inning.
