Well, he's a hundred years old.

I would say that I don't see his approach as operating by the book.

I'm trying to stay open to the idea that Terry is savvy in ways I can't comprehend that a lifetime of wisdom and a keen eye for practical application of comprehensive data feeds into choices like batting Cespedes second and Kelly Johnson fifth but the decision to go to Parnell and O'Flaherty first out of the pen has me flummoxed. The former is returning from the disabled list in relation to a dubious injury following a bout of self-destruction. The latter has been lost as well, and if he's ever going to be found, it's best to try and get him into lefty-on-lefty match-ups. That the team should hit their way back out a hole only to put the game in these hands puzzles me, as it seems neither beneficial for the team nor the pitchers. Terry openly stated before the game that he wanted to work Gilmartin and Reed in tonight and, well, there was his chance. Nice little lead your team has built up, Terry, but it's too early to coast, if that indeed is what's going on. I thought I knew his game. But 2015 Terry has been an enigma.

Yeah, my answers were imperfectly guessed.

Ouch, what cued that?

Tying run on quadruple deck. Let's go, Mets!

Campbell, great to see you again. Follow that thing up, Juanito.

Krazy Keef doing play-by-play.

Torres has been a big part of the 2015 Mets. You would miss him in a day. And he sure doesn't deserve conflation with Mike Torrez.

Murph, you should be home.

I remember my first beer, Larry.

Of course it's speculation.

Oooh, Torres. That means Pagan must be another.

Mets leadoff hitters since 2010. Reyes, Grandy, Cowgill, Brown, and Garry Matthews, Jr., and... Tejada?

Two more were activated in time for this game. Unfortunately, Terry chose to use one of 'em. Eric Young, having lost his 22 to Kevin Plawecki, takes over #1 from Darrell Ceciliani. "This is one of those games where you say, 'OK, guys, don't worry about taking pitches; get to rippin'. The only way you're going to get back in the game is to swing the bats.'" Keith, I disagree. And I probably would've disagreed even if I didn't just see the Phillies score eight runs on three hits.

Let's get O'Flaherty in there against a righty who's been pounding Niese. That makes... sense?

Murphy should have come off the bag. Colllins should have called on Reed.

Jon, we're putting Parnell in for you. Give him your beard.

Dear Phillies, We're thinking of contesting this game after all. What do you think? Love, Mets

Which pre-season quarter is Niese pitching in?

Fucking Geno.
