The force thing prevails so, because there were already two outs, the run would NOT have counted. And remember that there are no pointless questions, only pointless answers.

btw, today (20th) is the 11th anniversary of the BoSox completing the comeback from 0-3 vs the Crankees - so I guess that makes tonight a kind of 'Double Happiness'. "No way will the Yankees lose on Mickey Mantle's birthday" (10/20/1931) -- Mike Francesa Umm, yes they can Mike. Also Keith's birthday today (10/20/53)
House/aging-dog sitting at my folks' house while they were away at a parents weekend at my brother's college in western NYS. Lots of crazy phone calls criss-crossed between the two ends of the state shortly after that tenth inning. Watched game 6 with a girlfriend imported to the house for the evening. She was actually a Mets fan prior to being connected to me to the point where she was unable to watch during several tense moments in those later innings and had to leave the room at times. And like many here I have fuzzier memories of Game 7. I'm sure I was in the same place but I can remember far fewer specifics.

Surprised that they haven't pulled one of those deals where the entire cast suddenly shows up at the ballpark acting as if they're lifelong baseball fans. That's probably beyond TBS's budget. Wait for next week and FOX to pull off something like that.

Bryant getting on would probably have brought Familia in also. Now he gets to start the inning fresh AND face Ratso with no one on AND do so with at least a three run lead.

Was that ruled a 'E' out in LF? If so we still have no hits w/RiSP in this game. Run #1 - Wright on 1st when Cespedes 2B'd #2 Solo HR #3: K/wild pitch #4: Error in LF #5: ground out oe: apparently not. Ruled a single plus 2nd on the throw.
