My feed was late in coming back from commercial and they only caught Nimmo's HR in mid flight and without sound. I thought it was some previous NYM/STL highlight until Gary's voice kicked as the ball was landing.
Assuming that Gary is pronouncing StL backup catcher Andrew Knizner correctly as Kiz-Ner, it's not usual to see a Kn--- word where the N is the silent letter.

No official announcement that I've heard of, but it recently occurred to me that Brett Gardner has yet to latch on with a team. Not with the Yanx nor from anyone else.

I'm OK sticking with Jankowski there. Nimmo would be the logical choice if you were, but ... - best shot at avoiding the GiDP - Buck talked about Covid guys (Nimmo) needing extra rest first week back - weaken your defense with a switch - save Nimmo for maybe a more important AB later
Seems to me that if you're claimed by the Reds this year you should have the right to refuse (although they won today for the first time in the last 12 games)
=nymr83 post_id=90169 time=1650782243 user_id=54] have to wonder if they had any inkling of this injury when rejecting the qualifying offer? also, wouldn't you want to rehab on a team's dime in their facilities on a 2 year deal here?
