  1. Also postponed today: - Yanx @ Baltimore - Astros @ Minnesota - Reds @ Philly
  2. =Gwreck post_id=121558 time=1680751282 user_id=56] I'm not sure anyone is going to sample all the food stations at any one game. (At least, I hope not).
  3. The price for sponsor shoulder patches in tennis were always different for each side with the non-dominant shoulder, the one facing the camera during serves, being more expensive.
  4. Isn't this going to be seen as discriminatory towards non-Presbyterians?
  5. Edgy MD wrote: Gosh, this is that Matt Bush? I didn't realize he was still in the league either.
  6. John Curtiss, the extra S is for scoreless.
  7. Don't take Strzlecky if you're allergic to Strzlecky Side effects of Strzlecky include constipation, warts, possible blindness, anal leakage, and poor driving habits. Check with your doctor if fatal heart attack occurs. Use only as directed.
  8. =kcmets post_id=121517 time=1680722568 user_id=53] Fixed This Toilet might be an upgrade over Built This City.
  9. Hey I got a good idea, let's get behind a few more hitters.
  10. Partly, sure. But when I am in the park the last thing on my mind is to make sure I sample all the new (and ridiculously over-priced) food stations. Nor do I worry about the prospect of going three hours without nourishment. Not making a value judgement here, just never been a priority for me.
  11. The power of the non-mustache!!!
  12. Johnny Lunchbucket wrote: Petey is going to give this right back Four hits plus four hits (and 70+ pitches) to his first [CROSSOUT]13[/CROSSOUT] now 14 batters. Two of his six recorded outs were line-drives and one was a pick off. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence does it?

  15. Our goals today: 1) Score a run (hopefully more than one) 2) hold them to eight or fewer Either would represent progress. Both might even go a long way towards netting us a win.
  16. Two things I seem to care a whole lot less about compared to most baseball fans 1) uniform minutia 2) stadium food offerings
  17. Scherzer has now given up 11 HRs in his last five games/26 innings pitched. That takes in: - the final two regular season games of '22 [3 HRs over 10 IP vs OAK & ATL] - the playoff game vs SDP [4 in 4.2 IP] - and now the first two games of this year [4 in 11.1 IP including back-to-back-to-back] Scherzer has been known to give up the long ball now and then, indeed we here would occasionally revel in it when he did so as a National. And though it is still a (somewhat) small sample size, I don't think it would be going overboard to label this recent trend as ... concerning?
  18. At least we're in no danger of running out of Schaefer any time soon.
  19. The 7 top-of innings so far tonight have lasted maybe a combined 20 minutes.
  20. We're on the wrong end of a very lopsided hard hit ball ratio in this series, like maybe 25 - 2
  21. Plus, with game times plummeting, a fan can actually make it from first pitch to last without their tummy rumbling.
  22. Not after one game, no.
  23. BUST THAT SHUT-OUT! BUST THAT SHUT-OUT!
  24. Well, forget all that. I must have misunderstood what Gary was saying earlier. And now, as I type, Gary is correcting his earlier comments.
