Two of the showrunners and Ralph Macchio love the Mets. In case you didn't know, Cobra Kai never dies.

Man. This is like Norfolk State vs. Valparaiso in the NCAA final. Well said (as was Edgy's critique of the coloring on SUPERMANAEA). My protest vote is for SUPERMANAEA because the other "defeated" the best cover since Albert Almora's 2021 cover. I switched my vote. The arguments above about epitomizing the season swayed me for this combination. It wouldn't have changed my mind about "HAIR FORCE WON" or "NO SLEEP TILL THE BRONX" or "NO MERCY!" or "PICCADILLY CIRCUS" or any of the others that are better than these two.

Oh David Peterson, you really shouldn't have. Read the damn room.

When a team has more $ (they all have some $) it can do this--if it works out they get a good RP for a good price and if it doesn't it's "only" $1M. In "Black Edge", the book about Steve's company, the author tells the story of when Steve and another very rich guy wanted the same house. The other guy told Steve "I'll give you a million dollars right now to walk away" and Steve replied, "what am I going to do with a million dollars?" This is something he can do with a million dollars.

It's about the cover, not the moment.

He's served, so far, 15-ish innings of a lifetime ban, and he's already begging to be released. So good luck with that. Exactly. Don't do any press for a year or two, go to a few minor league games if you want, and then have the "we'll donate tickets to charity" talk.

I renewed the league for 2025 and set the draft for March 26th. You should have received an email from Yahoo!

This was a tough choice but I went with "NO SLEEP" as it's all-Mets while "SUPERMANAEA" has a divide for the Yankees and the Jets. It's also a great picture and a clever caption.

ALONSOMG captures perhaps the best moment of the season. HAIR FORCE WON! is the best cover.

Lindor, the Mets best player last year, didn't make any of the final 4 covers.

May 11, Sunday v. CHC, is now 11:35 AM for Roku.

Two gems but HF1 is one of the best in the tournament, despite the essay over his left shoulder.

The Dodgers can't stop, won't stop as they add Kirby Yates to the bullpen. LAD could split into an "A" and a "B" team and the "B" team could beat a lot of other teams.

2 of the 8 are from the same 2 game series (Mets @ NYY).

I see a few new models this year (are they called "models"?) and some we've seen before. Are the ones who have been with the company longer on a different pay scale? Do they have different job titles?

=DocTee post_id=183040 time=1737032069 user_id=85] I went to one (two?) noon starts this year and really really liked it. Wish they had some of those in 25.

I hope that Austin powers through some big innings for the Mets.

ESPN announced some of the Sundays they will screw up. At least we don't have to worry about this until May: https://espnpressroom.com/us/press-releases/2025/01/heres-the-pitch-2025-espn-sunday-night-baseball-early-season-schedule-unveiled/https://espnpressroom.com/us/press-releases/2025/01/heres-the-pitch-2025-espn-sunday-night-baseball-early-season-schedule-unveiled/
