I'm hoping that at least one voter switches. Pete has enough covers. Acuna looks great and it's a distinctive pose. We have plenty of Pete swinging. -
Two covers with colors in the lettering.
-
A clever (perhaps too obvious but clever) headline, a suitable subheadline, and a great action photo capturing a key moment in the season.
-
"No Mercy" features a great picture.
-
Hats off (or whatever they wear on top of their heads in Stockholm) to the TCB team for providing a historical perspective to the current competition.
-
Jesse Winker for the win and maybe the tournament.

How is this close? I needed a break from reading everything on the Lindor cover (did Biden say the "fluke" line)

Good comments. I subscribe to The Athletic and find his work to be nearly worthless. He's just making guesses like he's picking football games and it's without any accountability. I'd rather read Jayson Stark going out of his mind about the first game in history to last 2:38 and 45 seconds.

=metirish post_id=182109 time=1735657201 user_id=72] =bmfc1 post_id=182093 time=1735613834 user_id=73] At Fantasy Camp in 2009, Lenny was a coach on my team. When I finally got my first hit, Lenny ran on the field to get the ball. He signed it and added “To Jeff, A great hitter”. RIP Lenny.

Lindor v. Lindor (+Richardson). The Mets strength staff must love the top cover.
-
Mark Feinsand was a guest on today's "Tony Kornheiser Show" podcast and he thinks Pete will return to the Mets for 5 years with a player opt-out after two years. This makes sense given that Pete is a FA after a down-season.
-
I placed this comment in the Suggestion Box at TCB HQ: “Is it my imagination or are your models dressing more conservatively this year? Were you the subject of a harassment suit or was this a directive from HR? Either way, it doesn't diminish the quality of your work.”
-
The big "Joy of Jazz" kinds hurts the "No...Yes" cover. In addition to the pompous (of course) ad at the bottom.

Lindor v. Lindor.

Boswell was great, really great, but in the last decade (even though he retired he shows up now and again) he has become a PR hack for the Nationals, as evidenced by his latest: https://wapo.st/4fehbHAhttps://wapo.st/4fehbHA

We can now answer the question at the top of "What A Mess".

That's Clay Holmes. $38M for 3 years w/a player opt-out after two. He will become a SP. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clay_Holmeshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clay_Holmes https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/h/holmecl01.shtmlhttps://www.baseball-reference.com/players/h/holmecl01.shtml Joel Sherman: "The Mets' plan is to try Holmes as a starting pitcher with the fallback being as a set-up man for Edwin Diaz." Jon Heyman: "Great guy."

Ironically, these are the choices today as Severino leaves for ATH.

2 years, $34M, player-option after this year. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/m/montafr02.shtmlhttps://www.baseball-reference.com/players/m/montafr02.shtml
