Good luck with that. I know that you were addressing the initial comment but for me, I was thinking of the hammy injuries not Conforto.
Terry could also have used "DEAD MAN WALKING" but that's a lot of letters. At Friday's game, there was no visual evidence of who the Mets were (the is different from the many games where they don't show up) as the announcements and the scoreboards used the nicknames. (For the WSH players, one of the boards briefly displayed their given names.) You had to decipher "JUNIOR" and "PAUL" on your own. On Saturday, the announcer said their real names but if you missed it you didn't know. That's why the woman in front of me with the red Mets cap and lots of tattoos yelled "who the fuck is Black Bear?"
Barwis was doing what he knew best. The onus was on Mets management to see if it's contractor/employee was doing what was needed to get the player's ready to play baseball rather than to merely become stronger (if the two goals are mutually exclusive).
So they are "down" a hitter until tomorrow when Reyes returns then they can send a pitcher down (although there's a double header on Sunday so they can add a player).
I guess I want to spend time and money to see my team lose to a team I despise, sit among the dumbest fans in baseball, in a ballpark that is a half-step up from a good AAA ball park: I will be in 119 tonight (behind home, I'll be the guy wearing the spiffy FAFIF shirt) and in 105 tomorrow.
This must be unusual: 2 days in a row, the winning and losing pitchers of a game had the same name--Thursday, MIA and PHI, Garcia and Garcia; Wednesday, OAK and BAL, Castro and Castro.
Other than the return of the injured, do the Mets have many players left in the minors to add to the major league roster on September 1? I guess Josh Edgin, Kevin McGowan and Tyler Pill. For a 3rd catcher, Thomas Nido is on the 40-man.

I cannot wait for Teufel or Geren or Lopez or literally anyone else to start managing this team. Hicks led off that inning and was a switch-hitter. Not sure who y'all wanted in there instead of Robles but Judge was up next so if it was going to be Blevins so as to turn Hicks around it likely would have been a one batter outing. Then came the lefty Gregorius, then the righty Sanchez so I'm open to hearing alternate scenarios for that inning. I'd tend to blame the fact that we essentially went hitless after the back-to-back HRs. Give the fact checking a rest for once, especially after a loss to those guys. Robles should never be in the game unless he is on another team. Start the inning with Blevins and (CENSORED!).

Terry fucks it up again by giving Robles a 2d inning when it was a fucking miracle that he got through one. Of course, a righty was leading off so there was no fucking way that Terry would put in Blevins and instead he puts the pitching version of the Trump presidency in and he throws a nothing pitch and MFYs have the lead.
