    I noticed it also "If" Mauricio is called up tomorrow anyone's guess who might not longer be a Met It could be Vientos because if you're going to PH for him with someone incapable of hitting then that's not a good sign.

    At least they won't lose tomorrow. Helluva AB by Lindor standing there on strike 3. It might have been ball four but it was close enough and he's a good enough hitter that he should have been able to foul it off.

    Chalk one up for Buck right there. I'm still stunned that Guillorme was walked intentionally. I would have welcomed him to the plate and offered him a hot towel and a cold beverage.

    The "Tourists Will Go To the Games" argument is specious. E.g., I'm a Jets fan (sigh). I'm hoping to go to LV this November when the Jets play the Raiders. I'll travel to see the Mets but I doubt that I would go to a summer series in LV. Maybe the ballpark will be enclosed but you have to step into the 110-degree temperature at some point.

    Pete has only 31 hits this year that aren't HRs and he's K'd 50 times. The BP was supposed to go 5 deep but the Diaz injury moved everyone in the BP up one slot and allowed for a 3d interchangeable reliever instead of 2 and with the failure of the SPs to go past 5 or 6 on most nights you needed a deep BP. Billy did nothing for the 'pen after Diaz got hurt and has only since picked up other team's discards (such as Leone) while his brilliant Rule V pick was a bust.

    Do you remember the day game on May 14 @WSH? The Mets tied it and Buck left Leone in the game for a 2d inning and he gave up the GW HR. Buck didn't remember because the exact same thing happened today.
