He's a dipshit making decisions that have multi-million dollar consequences. If his judgment is that impaired there is no telling what he is doing on the field.
The MFYs should be ashamed that they lost to a team as bad as HOU. One more good winning streak or some activity by the GM to help the 'pen, and it would be the Mets about to win the WS, not the scum from Washington (not THAT scum, different scum).

Another way is that he's a bigot and one might question his ability to make the proper calls concerning players of color.
There's a new episode of the "Shea Anything" podcast with SNY's Doug Williams and Andy Martino. It was nice to get 30 minutes of Mets-talk even though nothing was added that we didn't know other than Martino has heard of other names who have gotten interviews but he can't report on those names. He said that some of the interviewees might show up in other roles (such as Skip Schumaker). He said that Showalter hasn't gotten an interview because there is a "history" with some of the Mets F.O.
I missed the play you're talking about but just watched it and you're right. There is no question that Springer screwed up. After one-game, HOU is giving me a STL vibe.
The 1st time that the World Series is between teams that share the same spring training facility (West Palm Beach, FL). https://twitter.com/jaysonst/status/1185782738172960769https://twitter.com/jaysonst/status/1185782738172960769
This is for your Stephen Rooting Interest, not who you think will win but who you WANT to win. There is only one acceptable answer but "You must enter at least two poll options".

F**k all of them.
=HahnSolo post_id=24520 time=1571240914 user_id=63] I posted in this in the middle of what was to become the Kurt Suzuki walkoff game. I kind of feel like I'm responsible for all that has happened since. Re: IGT 09/03 - Metropolitans at Nationals Post by HahnSolo » Tue Sep 03, 2019 9:56 pm God the Nats are bad. How the hell are we trailing these guys?
That's not a lot of "Good fors" which says something about the team, the franchise and their fans. Slowes is a Fordham grad and is a good announcer even though he obviously dumbs it down for his audience. Zimmerman is still playing and Wright isn't which is a shame. I liked the way each would decide to smooth out the dirt around 3rd when the other had reached 3B so they could talk. Good for my crazy Nats fan Jenn who has had season-tickets since Day One and has terrorized the Ticket Office since Day Two (and achieved results as her season are now next to the WSH dugout). Still, congratulations and F them. At least the Series is about to start and I won't have to see that disgusting logo around town for much longer... oh crap!
How did the Cardinals win a single game this year? This is the worst team we've seen this year and the Mets played in a division with the Marlins. What a bunch of losers.
2d straight series where the Nationals benefited from a manager's devotion to a once-great pitcher. I thought the STL manager promised to "fuck up" their next opponent. Maybe he meant that he was going to fuck up a big moment.
Molina hits into a weak DP and I'm upset. This is weird. However, it looks like this feeling won't last much longer and then I can return to dispising STL per usual. In fact, I'll dislike them even more for SUCKING ASS against WSH.
