McCann might be the new Doug Sisk in terms of fan reaction. Good thing for him that they are on the road for another week.

It would be nice if Lindor and McCann stepped up to earn their money, esp. in this time of need, but it doesn't seem that way.

We saw Jeff and Michael get hurt while running to first. McCann remains healthy because he doesn't run the bases very often.

Dammit. And now it's a 2-man bench. The Mets IL has more talent than the active roster: Conforto (unknown), Nimmo, JD, Guillorme, Almora. Jake, Carlos, Noah, Lugo.

This is BVW-level roster management. They have a 3-man bench today consisting of Maz, Nido, and Hager. Lucchesi is still on the roster. I'm not well-versed in the 40-man machinations but send Lucchesi on a rocket ship to Mars, or anywhere else, and call up a hitter.
