    I suppose Willie can talk to guys but really after putting the names on the game sheet not much he can do for them,just try and manage them I guess.

    I got my sport hating wife into the Mets this season and she will watch the games on and off with me and really gets into the game,she's not too happy with me for getting her to care about the Mets,thinks they are absolutely infuriating. A few months ago I would explain to her why the Mets couldn't win every game and now I am trying to explain what's going on with them right now,the different possibilities and consequences of failure,explaining all this to a novice is quite hard but fun.

    If it's a big deal it might be because he is not heard from that much,I like that he said it and it should be an interesting winter if God forbid we don't make it to the play-offs and win.

    Hopefully the extra days rest will be good for Pedro.....was Glavine on regular rest or an extra days rest,IIRC he doesn't like to not pitch on his regular day and the results are not good when he doesn't,at least I think they aren't.

    So much stuff happened in the game last night ,not long after the Milledge tirade the game was again stopped because Heilman was hit with an object while on the mound getting ready to throw,after much pointing back and forth a "fan" wearing a Reyes shirt was escorted from the stadium,yeah I know things are rough right now but that was a shit thing to do,fucking asshole.

    Willie in the post-game said Wagner had shoulder and back stiffness. I'm shattered after watching that game.

    Lastings had jawed to the ump about a called strike in that AB ,he makes an out and SNY went to break and when they came back Gary tells us that LM flipped and had to be restrained and after going back to the dugout ran onto the field again screaming....foolish stuff by him,so he was pissed over balls and strikes.
