Picking up on what Dickshot is saying,Klap reckons that Willie and Omar "have been drifting apart for months"...... ] If they do actually blow this lead and fail to make it to the postseason, you can bet there'll be a reckoning. Minaya and Randolph have been drifting apart for months, and the club's performance in September won't do much to heal the wound. The manager has been stuck with Mota (two-year deal) and Schoeneweis (three-year pact), but the GM has to be wondering why Randolph keeps using them.

I think Rick takes his share of the blame along with the rest of the coaching staff,not making excuses for him but Maine is going through his first full season so with this experience and innings under his belt it should help him in the future,which doesn't help the team right now though. Isn't Shoenweiss carrying an injury of some sort,Mota not being with the team for all that time can't have helped,didn't Maine throw a slider after the mound chat with Peterson?
