Oh I meant to add that I had forgotten that MLB owned and ran the team for a few seasons, which was wild, and that I was surprised that Omar Minaya wasn't mentioned in this doc , this was his big break in GMing

Trey Yesavage was brilliant, watched until 10pm , happy to see they won

I just finished this, agree with the above , plenty of blame to go around , but yeah money, Samson is a wanker and he knows it. Really feel for the fans that were in the doc , there is obviously a big love for baseball there.

From director Kathryn Bigalow , when a ICBM is launched at the USA the race is on to find out from who and how to respond ... Gripping at times with all the various agencies working quick-time ..... Look out for the Lindor references

Wow , good for you, what time did it finish? Ohtani reached base 9 times, a post-season record

I totally agree with CF , I only know Seaver from calling games etc , to me he often came across as an ******* , his partnership with Dave O'Brien was absolutely awful, unprepared and dismissive

Who is the Tom Seaver of James Bond henchmen? Emile Locque( For Your Eyes Only ), a ruthless hitman just like Tom , cold and emotionless while plying his "art " Who is the Tom Seaver of the CPF ?

Toronto and Seattle was an excellent series, watched most of it , rooting hard I think for Toronto here , but I guess mostly rooting for seven games

I basically agree with all of the above , would love to have him, Tigers want major league ready pieces plus prospects, and yeah the $250M sounds ridiculous, did they offer him like a few million or something? If I'm a Tigers fan I would be livid if my own team didn't make a good faith offer to him and I would want the best possible in any trade

Apparently via his own choice as he cited stress of the job which took a "severe toll" on him. "It's time I take care of myself and exit on my own terms" Good for him, he always seemed like a decent sort

I was going with more of a French pronunciation
