  1. Bollox.. saw a tweet saying price might be $64 million, dawgs?
  2. Yeah, Beltran/wheeler would do it.....
  3. I don't think Alderson does spectacular. In his career what has been his most "spectacular" trade? I am asking because I have not a clue, but based on his personality I think he doesn't do it, does he have a history on this?
  4. Pronunciation ? Aru-barr-wayna
  5. 2) he's a proven performer in New York. Ugh .....useless "stat"
  6. One of those coals might catch fire..seriously , how would we feel if the Mets had given Ellsbury that silly contract?, he's a leadoff hitter, that's some cabbage for that.
  7. That's a wonderfully stupid contract, well done NYY......
  8. Elsbury to the MFY's for seven years.......wow sorry, apparently this is the case.

They're (reportedly) at 7/$160 now simply because they have no reason to go to 10/$310 (which was never anything other than an attention grabber to start with) until someone else gets into the game. But unless someone gets into the Angels/Pujols kind of ridiculous range, they will go seriously north of $160 to keep him IMO. his counter was $260 million....he ain't coming to the Mets....
  10. Exciting times.
  11. Great read, Nymr was on fire..miss that.
  12. "drinking the piss"
  13. Damn, I will echo what Lefty said above. mediocrity never paid so good. what will Big Pelf get in this market?

  15. His little hop step before he caught a ball.....he acted like he belonged ....problem was it was acting.
  16. Joe Smith - wow ..I would have been hard pressed to even say who he was playing for....but with some thought it was the Indians...I think. How long since he was a Mets player?, six seasons?
  17. Well when you put it like that I suppose it would not be wise to invest the $$ he will be looking for never mind the years.
  18. There is no limit to Jose's nuttiness. You couldn't make this up.
  19. I'm not optimistic anymore on Cruz or anyone big ticket type come as a free agent, Peralta gets something like $53 million from St. Louis for four years? , guy is 31....Cruz surely gets that or more?
  20. Holy fuck yes, that's another thing, way too long...I was watching it and tuned to HBO for Bill Maher at 10pm, I set the DVR to tape the rest and I wold watch after Maher...at 11 I went to the DVR and it asked me if I wanted to watch from current or from taped....it was still on....
  21. I guess this is Paul Rudd's lot in life..playing this guy. Didn't enjoy this at all, had some moments but like bucket said they were kind of hateful. Nice tits and body on yer one Fox.... Wow
  22. I'd be very happy to see Cruz over here. I don't care about the PED taint.
  23. Another player I have never heard of but that's on me ......
  24. the $$$ five-year, $85M contract with a $15M vesting option for a sixth ... seems a lot for five?
