  2. Released, and a not coming out looking great https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6852239/2026/02/12/nick-castellanos-phillies-divorce/ The beginning of the end for Nick Castellanos’ time in Philadelphia came on the night when the $100 million outfielder cracked open a Presidente beer and carried the green bottle into the Phillies dugout in the middle of a game. It was a Monday in June, in the eighth inning, and Castellanos believed he had been disrespected at the highest level.
  3. I'm watching the Smithsonian channel Aerial America, I've seen them all , currently it is showing North Carolina and this snippet came up about the origin of the term "bullpen" Bull Durham Tobacco Ads: Many early 20th-century ballparks featured large outfield billboards for Bull Durham tobacco, often near where pitchers warmed up. Pitchers "warming up behind the bull" led to the name.

Instead of playing for Brazil, he'll be focused on learning third base and recovering from his injury this March with the Mets. Here is the link https://www.espn.com.br/beisebol/mlb/artigo/_/id/16236240/brasil-perde-sua-principal-estrela-para-copa-do-mundo-de-beisebol

  15. John DeMarsico started getting a lot of good attention over the last season for his excellent direction of Mets games , he announced on Twitter he is leaving in part because it became clear the future of the broadcast was moving in a different direction I and many here really appreciated his Mets broadcasts and I truly hope he isn't being replaced with AI slop Maybe Fred and Jeff are doing stupid Fred and Jeff stuff
  16. Vidal Bruján is a great name
  17. The Mets are showing strong interest in LHP José Quintana, who played for the team in 2023-2024 and could be a third or fourth starter in their rotation.
