    I voted for Wright. I believe Soler's line should read 3 runs, 2 earned.

    I like it, he seems to know how to pitch. Better outing than Lima/Gonzo/Maine ever gave. I can see the light at the end of this SP tunnel if Soler can pitch like this and Hernandez rounds out the rotation.

    Stupid...with a 4 run lead you leave your closer who saved a game last night in the pen. Trot Julio or Feliciano out there. Now it's going to take 6 pitchers to win this game after Pedro pitched a shutout through 7 innings.

    I blame Willie, can we trade him? It's inexcusable to send your closer out in a non save situation. Especially after he pitched very well last night.

    Very true, again, not confirmed. OE: Either way, the Lima release would indicate that something has been set in concrete for the next few trips through the rotation.

    Rumor on Metsblog is that Bannister's hamstring is torn and that he could be out another month...nothing confirmed though. If Lima's out and Bannister is out, then they must have made some sort of decision as to who's going to fill that gap.
