  1. Right, sorry...that's what I meant. Last night's win marked the first time to 20 over.
  2. Weren't Nady and Floyd out for that road trip?
  3. ="OlerudOwned"] Great album. OE...20+ for the first time this year. Gary was comenting last night on how elusive it's been. Ron said it's something you try to do before the AS Break.
  4. Maine 6 Valentin 1 Nady 1 Delgado 1 Floyd 1
  5. Games don't really get more fun to watch than this one.
  6. I love this lineup! Imagine what they could do if everyone was healthy and all at their A game at the same time...I don't think we've even seen that yet. But with Delgado and Floyd looking like they are coming around...we could see the full power of this offense pretty soon. Cool.
  7. Maine only at 57 pitches through 5 innings. I like it.

  9. The show's better during football season...the rest of the year, it's just a Sportcenter anchor and a guy that knows football spouting recycled garbage. I'd like it better if Greenberg wasn't a shameless Yankees/Jets fan, because that is where all discussions tend to lead.
  10. I heard it this morning on the way to work. All I could think of was, WOW! It must be a really slow national sports day if they let him spend 12 minutes on this subject. It's nice to know beer is veggie-friendly. I'll take some edamame and a veggie baguette please.

  13. metirish wrote: Keith.... "anytime you have Jose Valentin hitting 8th that's making a statement"... Who would have thought anyone would have been saying that about Jose after his terrible start. I remember during the Padres series in April, their announcers mentioned that having Jose Valentin on the bench was making a statement as he would be a starter on 26 out of 30 teams. I remember mocking them on this very board for that commentary. I was wrong.
  14. Carlos goes KABOOM! No, the other one. Gland Slam...again.
  15. Valentin goes KABOOM! 2-0 Mets.
  16. X goes KABOOM! Abre-who?

  19. Ramirez singles home The Riot. Chadford in to try and keep a one run lead intact.
  20. The Riot with a triple to start the Cubs 6th.
  21. 2B Ryan Theriot getting his first start of '06 today. He takes Mark Prior's spot on the roster. Cool last name: The Riot!

  23. Good to have him back in the organization. Like most, I always liked him and was sad when he left.
  24. He'll be on the long side of this one though. (Damn you Rowand!) Would be his 7th win in 7 starts.
