  3. I take it back, the beard doesn't make him douchy.
  4. Edgy DC wrote: Pelf out there for the eighth, secure in the knowledge that with Hu behind him, there's nothing he can't do. Might have something to do with Paulino in front of him, too, no? Or maybe the absence of Thole.
  5. Good for Big Pelf getting into the eighth! Nice start, Mike.
  6. Baby steps to his .059 average. I'm hoping the dude really can play at the ML level...but I don't think he's going to find too many opportunities to succeed.
  7. Ceetar wrote: I might try clearing the data/cache from the manage applicadtions menu. F YEAH! Totally worked. Thanks...I never would have thought to do that.
  8. Ceetar wrote: weird. have you updated it? what phone do you have? it's workign fine for me. I have it setup to update automatically, and when I search for it in the Android market it says it is installed with no options for updates. I have an HTC Droid Incredible.
  9. Jeers for the MLB At Bat Android app as I have been unable to connect to audio for two weeks now. I'd love to be able to listen to today's game...having paid for the service and all.
  10. Nice guy or no nice guy, the beard still makes him a douche.
  11. I don't think Hu has shown anything that would suggest he shouldn't be batting 8th in today's lineup.
  12. METS: Reyes-SS Hu-2B Wright-3B Beltran-RF Bay-LF Davis-1B Paulino-C Hairston-CF Pelfrey-P Fuck me! This loss will be on Terry.
  13. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: I think on some level the regulars are like us: They see that lineup 6-9 last night, Lincecum on the mound, and feel like they're going to lose, especially after having kicked the winnable opener. I think this can be said for not just last night, but for major parts of the past 3 seasons.
  14. Season/Brewers debut for Greinke last night: 4 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 4 ER Brewers commit 3 errors and allow 8 runs overall...meanwhile, Tim Hudson throws a complete game one-hitter.
  15. Capuano 2 Igarashi 1 Gee 1 Beltran 1
  16. HahnSolo wrote: It took until 2 months before his 8th birthday, but Little Solo finally uttered the words I dreaded hearing: "The Mets suck." At least you know the kids is smart. They are not playing very good ball.
  17. Caught looking. More facial hair coming in to relieve.
  18. Nice FUCKIN' PLAY!
  19. Yeah, I'm not going to lie...Timmy's pretty good.
  20. Capuano not superb...but deserves better offense than he got.
  21. My gawd!!!! First and third, no out. Paulino, Harris, Pridie. Suck, Suck, suck!
  22. Who's the girl? Is she some reality TV star?
  23. Great job, BG! And Davis, Niese and Beato.
  24. I agree with what Gwreck said in the 05/03 IGT: Hu is useless if Reyes is going to play everyday (as he has and should). If someone gets hurt, then we should cross that bridge when we get to it and I'm sure Turner can play SS in a pinch. Give Evans a shot. At least he's got some pop.
