Ollie joining Bisons today June 29, 2009 Oliver Perez is scheduled to join Triple-A Buffalo today, and will make at least one appearance with the Bisons, presumably Friday if he's staying on a five-day cycle. Meanwhile, John Maine won't pick up a baseball until at least Thursday, when he's scheduled to be reexamined. On the positive front, Billy Wagner remains on track to face batters within the week. http://www.nydailynews.com/blo...0JqwEjnHB&D Later

The players always like a day off. So when they have to play a make-up game, they just want to fly in, play the game and get it over. So ... Whaddaya' wanna' bet that this one goes at least 13 innings? Later

I had heard that he left the game last night after 1 AB. Didn't know the nature of the injury. What's the prognosis? Side note: I'm going to take the grandkids to see Binghamton play at New Britain on Sunday , July 12. I was looking forward to see Thole in action. Hope he's back by then. Later
