  4. I'm ready to say Khaleil Lee
  5. 37! "In a row?" (name that movie)
  6. I don't actually believe they've demonstrated they can hit enough to play 700 ball the rest of the way, nor do I think they have the pitching that would allow for such a stretch anymore. Tonight I was so optimistic that they would show something-- ots beyond obvious it was time-- and they embarrassed themselves against an emergency tomato can. This feels at best like the kinda season that, even if they did reach the finish line, they'd deserve a one-game bounce-out by the kind of playoff peers that are routinely outclassed them on the field
  7. Tonight. I quit. No heart, no courage no brains.

  9. Fuck magill and his cant-bother-covering-first giant ass. Send this pumpkin back to Binghamton
  10. Now's the moment for everyone to demonstrate whatever they got. In this case the lindor-Beaz Dream Team would be the catalyst
  11. There are screenings scheduled in Central Park at at Citifield on non holidays... we're going Sept 3 or 5 or something at Citifield
  12. =ashie62 post_id=75336 time=1629831445 user_id=90] Time for a 20-5 run.
  13. Also Longoria is on the covid list si chances are high for some Wilmer action.
  14. I haven't seen any announcements just wishful thinking plus report speculation. There's no longer time to do rehab!
  15. I like our chances here as the Lindor-Baez team up for the first time, we have some momentum from Sunday, the Cohen criticism sinks in. And our best pitcher, (!!) The dark horse nobody had, is on the bump. Tuesday Night Mets Club up in 513 for this one
  16. In the words of the great Larry Jones, put on your Yankee gear. Starting a series with Atlanta NOW
  17. JDD saves his own job, for now
  18. Now wait for the leadoff triple
  19. Str0 gonna bat here, Comforts and Smith stay on the bench
  20. all shitty Met lefthanders sit Nimmo CF Alonso 1B Báez SS J.D. Davis 3B Drury LF Villar 2B Pillar RF Mazeika C Stroman RHP (8-12, 2.84)

I was gonna make this a poll but it got stupid, so maybe a discussion is better. Best I can see is, Lindor returns and he and Baez create some chemistry. I mean, Conforto could get hot and be a kind of superspreader too but I'm having a hard time even imagining that now. Trevor Williams? Bumping this thread after 2 weeks of a cataclysmic lack of catylii. Twitter seems to think Lindor and Baez might return together as soon as today?? I'll set my expectations for the next meeting of the Tuesday Night Mets Club tho.
  22. If Pillar had been thrown out, McNeil would have singled to right
