Bryce Montes de Oca needs to be issued a number like 91 or 98 and get a reputation for pitching inside. That's a recipe for an All-Star appearance. I've been waiting for the Lugo bubble to pop for years, it could be time to say goodbye, May, maybe. Diaz would be nice to have around for another few seasons.

If we go back to the springtime and the who-do-we-fear threads I think I'd have said Philly because they really do have a nice lineup. Then we played them only to discover they cut too many corners and looked like a wilpon era Mets squad. Just the damage they've done to Girardi's reputation as a leader of men is impressive and I have a lot of friends-- including Josh who passed away suddenly this summer and would have been on cloud 9-- who love the Phils so I'm going with them. Go Phillies. I said it.
