I'm not entirely sure what role he plays unless he unseats Cahna. He's not really a defensive reserve and we have a LH hitting DH already in Vogelbach

    take the poll!

Arrived in the ridiculous 73, departed in the dignified 27

=G-Fafif post_id=114750 time=1670988379 user_id=55] That Sunday game in L.A. in which Buck had only Adonis to close and Adonis closed, never mind that he had to quell the heart of the Dodger order. It was the game that certified the Mets as one of the bona fide title contenders.

It was a 3-catcher deal. A's get Milwaukee's Manny Pina. Milwaukee gets William Contreras, Braves get Murphy. I think the A's get some other shit too

They might not let him in the country if he's as antivaxx as he came off. also the pitch-clock rule is going to eff with him mercilessly. But I liked how steady he was given his stupid outbursts and long-delivery times.

Steve Phillips didn't believe in developing pitching it seemed. At least not on the Mets-- he outsourced it

I think maybe they would. I was thinking the Mets should get Jean Segura as an unconventional DH/infield reserve but I prefer Guillorme

Of the famous foursome they gave away Matz' 32 the quickest as it went directly to Loup over that off-season. Syndergaard's 34 was less than half a season (Tommy Hunter). Harvey was just more than a calendar year (Hector Santiago). They gave Reyes 7 directly to coach Bob Geren. It wasn't until Marcus Stroman said 7 was sacred did they mothball 7

I was just thinking of appearances. Like how long after your spouse dies are you allowed to be seen out on a date? Kinda question

How soon do you reissue #48?

More excited about this guy more than Verlander, who seems more mercenary. BTW has the instant reply window gone away or did I toggle something wrong
  14. Johnny Lunchbucket
He would likely be a career Met if it plays out.

So Robertson and that douche from Tampa are in. May and --,Lugo out? Plus those Marlin dudes, Drew Smith and Diaz? Bring back Williams or something like him

I am so happy. I was terribly worried thus team would be dull and not fun to watch without this palooka
  17. Johnny Lunchbucket
Enough with the 34 year olds. This team is going to be dull as shit
  18. Johnny Lunchbucket
Yeah I've basically never heardo f this $26 million guy

At a game this year I encouraged Lunchpail to choose a Walker shirsey. Bad dad move. I liked Walker
  20. Johnny Lunchbucket
    Phuck these guys
  21. Johnny Lunchbucket
Heaney was mentioned in some Met chatter. Hoping now they come away with Senga just because I want to see him pitch
  22. Johnny Lunchbucket
    Phillies are going to hit

=metirish post_id=113915 time=1670261250 user_id=72] This means Ben Verlander too, so it's not all great
  24. Johnny Lunchbucket
Yay? I dunno. The guy's old.
  25. Johnny Lunchbucket
He was a good power hitter and generally overlooked so good for the crime dog
