But with quality other sources, Mets fans might not be as likely to bother. Out of curiosity, in the vast wasteland of anyone with an internet email account can throw up a blog page, how can this actually be measured in any fashioned? Obviously you are not venturing into the depths of the Evil Empire's Internet Fan Community to see who promotes their sites, podcasts, and whatnot, on social media accounts, message boards and so on, so in general it is kind of hard to judge one fan community's blogosphere (and social media communities) when you are just active in only one team's fan community. And I mention the vast wasteland, because just like with Met blogs, just because the blog writer(s) or podcast hosts aren't harping about their stuff on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Reddit, YouTube, Tout, Instagram, MySpace, Friendster, Pintrest, Foursquare or whatever social network(s) you think works best to promote your stuff, doesn't imply quality or quantity as compared to fans of other teams. Nor should it imply that just because you like/follow/whatever they call it in places the official team account that you are more likely to drown out non-official fan based sources for news, information, opinions and community.
