  1. Willets Point Brewery. Sadly not an actual operating brewery, just a “snazzy” marketing name like The K Korner in the old McFadden’s on the opposite end of Seaver They will have exclusive food offerings, and I’d imagine a bunch of the craft beers listed on the attached, I presume mostly the Montauks, available on the tap lines. Also according to all the foodie postings, its where you sign up for Citi’s version of the 9 dogs and 9 beers in 9 innings challenge. Like K Korner, probably safe to assume this is a team controlling gap measure until the major building projects (soccer stadium and its surrounding elements, as well as same with the casino) give the area enough of a business boom where they can allow stable, and competent third parties back into those spaces.
  2. Love to petition someone to get Nelson as a mic tribute up among the numbers there with Murph and Ralph

  4. I’ll be your huckleberry…and that’s in Tombstone Doc Holliday, not The Scooter
  5. My Safari on my phone has a lot of my old bookmarks filed, so it started to recognize GrandSlamSingle as a suggestion when I started typing GrandCe…
  6. Yeah, I was half tempted to bitch and moan about being the MFY’s bitch all those years in the 2000s and 2010s and how lack of multiple deep postseason runs (they did make one ALCS IIRC, off hand I think it was losing to the White Sox in ‘05) was a factor in the lack of HOF support Johan Santana got! ;)
  7. FYI, his Metly HOF induction will take place in the same ceremony. Ala Seaver and Wright. So Maz and Bobby V will be inducted in one ceremony on May 30th, and Beltran when the number is retired.
  8. Also his Metly HOF induction will take place in the same ceremony. Ala Seaver and Wright. So Maz and Bobby V will be inducted in one ceremony on May 30th, and Beltran when the number is retired.
  9. He did cause the iconic “WHAT DID I THINK OF HIS PERFORMANCE” Lasorda meltdown tape with them, so Cubbie David Arthur Kingman?
  10. Adrian Gonzalez for the Pads?
  11. FYI, Lamb chose to wear it, honoring the Bruin legend. He did not do well with it, and it promptly went back out of circulation!
  12. Geez, someone second all-time for a franchise should be super obvious… I mean Randy Jones can’t still be second, if he ever actually was, for the Pads Hint time?
  13. Is traffic really that light? Probably just good timing on the images. Also it looks like live cam captures, so probably just used images where you weren’t too distracted by all the vehicles to see the road signs.
  14. Looks like one of those Captcha things that prives you aren’t a bot!
  15. Plus it, or anything with a 7 could imply association with Darren Meehan’s travel booking agency/apparel store.
  16. Yeah, I’m curious as to the criteria being used beyond the 150 games played for regulars and innings for pitchers, I guess MMS missed the Soto guess post. Al has 38 games pitched with the Yankees, mostly on the front end, and his final handful of MLB appearances. My guess, Rickey Henderson
  17. Seaver of course, and Verlander
  18. More indicative of 200 wins no longer being a goal for HOF acceptance.
