  1. FYI, Lamb chose to wear it, honoring the Bruin legend. He did not do well with it, and it promptly went back out of circulation!
  2. Geez, someone second all-time for a franchise should be super obvious… I mean Randy Jones can’t still be second, if he ever actually was, for the Pads Hint time?
  3. Is traffic really that light? Probably just good timing on the images. Also it looks like live cam captures, so probably just used images where you weren’t too distracted by all the vehicles to see the road signs.
  4. Looks like one of those Captcha things that prives you aren’t a bot!
  5. Plus it, or anything with a 7 could imply association with Darren Meehan’s travel booking agency/apparel store.
  6. Yeah, I’m curious as to the criteria being used beyond the 150 games played for regulars and innings for pitchers, I guess MMS missed the Soto guess post. Al has 38 games pitched with the Yankees, mostly on the front end, and his final handful of MLB appearances. My guess, Rickey Henderson
  7. Seaver of course, and Verlander
  8. More indicative of 200 wins no longer being a goal for HOF acceptance.
  9. In any event, those were the actual Met road unis for the year https://www.ebay.com/itm/185575789789 The Franchise Tom Seaver # 41 Of The New York Mets | GAME FACE. |... WWW.FACEBOOK.COM GAME FACE. Not something created for the tour
  10. You are over thinking it. Those are the usual 1975 Road Greys https://www.tcdb.com/ViewCard.cfm/sid/33514/cid/489410/1976-Kellogg's-3-D-Super-Stars-9-Felix-Millan That blue tends to pop more on professional grade B&W cameras at certain angles. https://www.tcdb.com/ViewCard.cfm/sid/198099/cid/12704308/1975-New-York-Mets-4x5-Photos-NNO-Tom-Hall
  11. Jose Oquendo, speaking of eternal Redbirds, might count on the front end.
  12. Oddly, I think he and Keith Hernandez got inducted into the Cardinals’ HOF together…actually never mind, a year apart “class wise” Same ceremony though.
  13. Mickey Lolich and Jim Fregosi should count, even if they are known as who the Mets got in awful deals
  14. Adrian Gonzalez, Jose Bautista
  15. Sarge Jr. https://www.tcdb.com/ViewCard.cfm/sid/9821/cid/417626/2010-Topps-533-Gary-Matthews-Jr. Only in-action Met card is a badly Photoshopped one!
  16. Oh, I thought this was just as much about people who fans looking back, especially born years/decades after would be like THEY PLAYED FOR THAT TEAM” Not just players you’d rather forget were on the Mets, or had such little time and/or impact that you forgot their time in a Met uni. Ie Postseason and down the stretch performances put Tom Glavine and Max Scherzer on here. Back to what I thought was part of the point, Glavine and Snider are joined by Gary Sheffield in terms of iconic milestones managing to happen while the player is in a Met uni.
  17. A few HOFers brought in for early nostalgia pops and the hopes of becoming a full time coach Richie Ashburn Gil Hodges Duke Snider Yogi Berra Warren Spahn
  18. Stole my first thought opening this thread!
  19. Who are three people who have never been in my kitchen?
