12 pitch walk for Wright. Nice.

What channel did you see the CHW-MIN game on? I was watching WGN, and had to mute it. Those guys -- calling every player by their first name, ("Paulie playing behind the runner with 2 outs") actively rooting with every play are absolutely awful. Worse than Sterling even.

Batting after the pitcher, Jose really needs to remember to take some freaking pitches. I think he's pressing, what with the slump he's in.
-
Pedro cruising, he's retired everyone except Piazza so far.

I've tried the ESPN gamecast, but I still find it decidely inferior to the MLB gamecast. I used to like the ESPN gamecast of 4-5 years ago, but have stuck with MLB since. Still the superior interface.

Young already at 50 pitches.

Nady!

This opposing pitcher, Chris Young, is an interesting guy. Went to Princeton (Political Science degree), played Center on the Princeton basketball team; was offered a contract by the Sacramento Kings to play professionally.

Apparently Beltran nearly made the starting lineup tonight. He's available to pinch-hit again.

Shit. C'mon Bradford...
-
Hmm, not sure. WTF is the etymology of "golden sombrero" anyway?
-
Is it still a golden sombrero if it takes 13 innings to happen?
-
Why not? The bullpen is the only thing keeping us in this game....
-
C'mon Carlos, let's get one across here.
-
Or we go to a starter...ie. Victor...
-
Interesting switch to Bradford, what with the pitching shortage and all.

Attaboy, LoDuca.

Mets 0-1 so far this year with bonus baseball.

I could see the logic in keeping Hernandez in for defense, but I'm surprised by the lack of double-switching. Maybe Endy can get on and Heilman bunts.
