    Well, that was unfortunate.

Jeff gets us that run right back.

Not watching, but gameday says he's throwing it at 87-88. Got a couple up to 90 or 91.

ANGEL! And Barajas scoring from first on a triple - nice.

Gameday won't tell me if Francoeur hustled to avoid that DP but I certainly have noticed it when actually watching other games. He's not the perfect player but he sure is a likeable fellow.

I wouldn't be either. Didn't see a whole lot of effort yesterday from Kemp (Keith was on him for this during the broadcast).

Especially because Takahashi is only available to bail us out every few days. I thought Jerry was pretty quick with the hook for Oliver last night (something I was in favor of) -- and it worked out (courtesy an assist from the Home-plate ump). Can he be quick with the hook again today if necessary? Even if it means Raul Valdes or Manny Acosta has to pitch 2+ innings?

First home win of the season for the Orioles as they defeat the MFYs.

I know it's early, but Takahashi sure is fitting in nicely as our savvy veteran long-reliever, a-la Darren Oliver of several years ago.

    NICE hitting by Davis.

Pagan and Castillo on with no outs. It's run-scoring time boys.

Nice assist from Angel Campos (HP Ump) on the called third strike on James Loney (it was ball 4). Loney gets the boot after arguing.
