    Good job David.

Umm, I have a bad feeling about this. We could REALLY use a hit here.

I remember running in to Lunchbucket on the street as I was getting a sandwich on my way to the game that would be Davis' debut. His last Mets homer was a good one.

Ceetar wrote: the Mets/Madoff connection didn't really leak until after. At least, the extent of their losses and that they were going to be involved in the lawsuit. Perhaps they disclosed that to Sandy before hand. Perhaps not. No. This is factually inaccurate. The Madoff issue and that it would affect the Mets substantially was well known far before Sandy was hired. Dave Howard was arguing with Erin Arvelund about whether the Mets would have to sell the team on television in August 2009. Alderson was hired after the 2010 season

Worth mentioning again just how good the blue hats look with the road grays.

I know Davis was yesterday's hero but I'd still be using Satin to hit here.

Now he's going to bunt again. I dislike this plan

    Bunting is stupid

He's a Red Sox fan, and that's the problem. I don't think this was much about politics.

Miscellaneous: Crowd was very welcoming to Granderson. Lesser cheers for Chris Young and Colon. Biggest cheers for Wright, Harvey and Wheeler. I think Valverde is basically ticking dynamite but he was throwing 92 and got the big Ks, so good for him. Davis does not look at all improved at the plate.

    Suck it Clippard

Valverde got squeezed too. Ball 2 should've been strike 3
