Maybe we'll get pitchers like that in the Steve Cohen era.

I thought this was going to be about the number of games in the season. Gimenez should be wearing 11. That number shouldn't be on a coach's back unless it's under the name TEUFEL.

Fasten your seatbelts...

With luck, this will be the last month the Mets play as a Wilpon team. (Actually, with a lot more luck, OCTOBER will be the last month that the Mets play as a Wilpon team.)

Nice to see Porcello's ERA under 6.00. It's the envy of Steven Matz.

Yes, I would count that.

The Seaver in a Reds uniform cover was an exception because it was about an important story in Mets history. I'm not so sure about d). If the next edition of U. S. News and World Report had a cover photo of Roberto Alomar in a Mets uniform I would definitely include it, even though Alomar isn't employed by the Mets. e) Yes, no official team publications. There are a couple of collectors covers in the batch. A quick scan showed one with Doc Gooden and another one with Nolan Ryan.

Here they are! I wish I had known about this one for last year's Magazine Cover Derby

John Milner?

I like how the Yankees only sent two batters to the plate in the top of the tenth.
