Those guys

Andrew Stevenson - RF Who? -- 25 y/o BL/TL 2nd round draft pick in 2015 out of LSU. 39 ML ABs so far
Adrian Sanchez - 3B Who? -- 27 y/o Venezuelan rookie. 43 ML ABs so far.
Daniel Murphy - 2B -- Him we've met.
Adam Lind - 1B -- Backs up Zimmerman
Wilmer Difo - SS -- Got ML cups-a-coffee in 2015 & '16. Injuries to others have awarded him with some 250 ABs this year.
Michael A. Taylor - CF -- Not sure why he insists that the A. be in there all the time
Alejandro De Aza - LF -- Yeah, that one.
Jose Lobaton - C -- Weiters' backup
AJ Cole - P -- The Nats drafted him (4th round) in 2010, then they traded him away (for Gio Gonzalez) in 2011, then they got him back a year later. This will be his 5th ML start this year.
All those Cole trades involved Oakland of course as those teams are contractually required to make at least three deals per season that tilt in Washington's favor.

Zimmerman, Rendon, & Weiters are not, to my knowledge anyway, injured at this point. Probably just getting a deGrom day off so they can feast on the low hanging fruit during the
remainder of the series.

I'm not sure what to make of these uniform jerseys. But for the record, I don't like 'em. Should have kept the sleeves blue IMO.

Don't know, but Reynolds is leftfielding now.

deGrom leads the bigs in pitcher hits with 14. Jhoulys Chacín has 12.

Watching on MLBtv. I'm still in the first inning, dArnaud up, bases loaded. So I think I'm a bit behind tonight. I probably should switch to the radio feed.

I do dig the names on the back of the jerseys. deGrom's says "Jake". Those orange caps tho.....anyone have an extra pair of eclipse glasses?

Good call at first as deGrom beats out an infield single.

A good call at 1st by an ump!

LOL Nats in those clown suits. Mets are styling, though!

I get the idea that they're all going deer hunting after the game.

What is a utility guy, a futility guy, and a capability guy?

I haven't seen that shoulder patch up close yet, but from a distance it looks like a baseball version of the Evolution Progression - y'know, where the monkey marches towards being a man.

Now Cespedes is down? Leg issue. Maybe when he stretched the other day and slid to catch a ball in LF.

I have never seen anyhting like this in my entire life.

Me neither.

Stanton just hit his 49th. Amazin'.

I hear ya but actually the shoulder patch is pretty kool in and of itself.
From a child to a man. You were close tho.

Céspedes has had tight and tender legs pretty much as long as he's been a Met. Blame his bodybuilding or blame the golf or blame the outfield or blame the cruelty of the fates, but it's something we ought to be used to by now. I see him kick it to full speed, I'm more surprised when he doesn't come up hobbled.

Alright, leadoff Lagares double in the eighth. Let's plate that man.

Is it really the 8th inning? Yikes. MLBtv has me in the bottom of the 4th!

Nice to see the boys who are fighting for jobs coming through.
That was a bit of a gutsy send by Sherlock as Taylor fielded that single very shallow. Plus Juan looked like he expected to be held and had to re-ignite his motors.
