I was thinking that he was headed to the disabled list for an infected blemish.

That's not really the Mets style. They wiould list him as day to day, then after skipping his turn in the rotation, they will send him out to pitch , only to have to lift him after 15 pitchers due to an infection of his thumb from exposure infected sebaceous discharge, resulting in DeGrom then having to go on the 10 day DL.*

*How's that for a run on sentence?

Time to get two, but only two, runners on this inning.
Your mission is to guess which two will be stranded.
Walker is the early favorite.

I was right about the only two hits part, but they accidentally scored a run while doing so. Someone will need to talk to them about that.

Those 8 LOBs could be even worse seeing as how they've also had three runners erased on the paths: the one out at home and the two on the front end of GiDPs

Where the fuck was that 0-1 ball called by Blue... I re-winded 3
times and it was a strike all three times.

Padres kinda suck, and we just dropped a series to them...

Got 2 runners on in the 6th, 2 more in the 7th, 2 more in the 8th, and then 2 in the 9th.
Need more than 2 total runs out of those situations.

But I'm running out of books!

Okay, I have to ask this again.

Why. Is. Montero. On. This. Team. Even leaving aside the 3 runs in 3 innings, he threw [u:1hxg7whm]87 pitches in 3 innings[/u:1hxg7whm]. 45 pitches in the first inning alone. He's painful to watch.

At our place, no less. I know it is still relatively early, but it appears this is going to be a very long and disappointing season.

Seriously. And dude's 26; he's had chances. 61 walks in 93 major league innings. CUT HIM LOOSE, SANDY.

I keep reading that the Mets don't want to promote Tyler Pill because they're not sure that he'll be effective in the major leagues.

I have to think it's worth a shot. They're giving major league innings to pitchers who are proving that they're not effective in the major leagues.
