Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 The big line of thunderstorms now looking more likely for around 8:45-9:00 - so maybe this starts on time but gets interrupted in the middle somewhere.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Welcome back Wilmer.Glad to see T.J. His left wrist took a hit on that blooper.

The Mets will be in ATL two more times. Edited May 4, 2017 by Guest
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 If last year is any indication, you get the best out of Cabrera after he's good and messed up.But man, that guy gets himself good and messed up.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 He really looked feeble in that at bat.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 What the deuce is that section in right field? It looks like press box with love seats and aluminum desks.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 It is raining, and Zack looks better than Harvey.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 That was a tough play. I'd call it a legit double. And Freddie Fkn Freeman's average against the Mets remains 1.000 with runners in scoring position.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 It WAS a tough play. Not as tough as catching Bruce's clubbing. Mercy.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Bruce hit that one to 82nd Street

Guest themetfairy Guests Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 I love the guy in the Chop House who caught it on the fly!
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 RAIN DELAY, a little too soon.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 And we're in a rain delay. We have Baltimore vs Boston on the MLB network for those inclined.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Well, as we wait out the rain delay down here in Atlanta's Fulton County Stadium, we invite you to anachronistically enjoy these highlights from the Mets' 2015 season. We hope to be back with you shortly, but until then, I invite the boys in the truck to take it away![youtube:3g89kib8]9NQVmGK60_Q[/youtube:3g89kib8]

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 I think it's gonna be a Mets Fast Forward kinda morning for me...
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Hanging with my son and 10 of his graduate school friends at an Irish Pub (in Wilmington, NC). Competing in a team trivia contest. We won the first round, but the second round on Winona Rider films did not go well. Music trivia is coming up in one of the two final rounds. Hoping to kick some ass in that round.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Ridiculous that the game even began. It's up to the home team and the home team might not have wanted to lose a gate at their new ballpark. For that, if it's not resumed, the Mets waste a start from a healthy pitcher when he could have been pushed to tomorrow.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 This sucks , watched the NYR win, Amazin Finishes 2006 , God I love Delgado
