Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 I false-started this thread. I've since deleted it, and hope I didn't jinx anything. As noted in that earlier thread, a real manager would've started Guillorme.[fimg=250]https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/ec/a5/0f/eca50f4863ac32704f7c13bc9c074dab.png[/fimg]Houston Astros[fimg=250]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/he/1/15/NLE-NYM-Logo.png[/fimg]=#0040FF]New York MetsAlex Bregman, 3bMarwin Gonzalez, 2bCarlos Correa, ssEvan Gattis, dhA.J. Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Strange how the Astros have become one of the most foreign teams from a Met fan perspective.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 I mean, they're in the orbit of St. Lucie, so we see them frequently enough in the spring time (this will be the second of seven matchups in Florida), but I feel like know Detroit better. And I feel like I know just almost every team better.Every good team even moreso.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 The team that I don't know is the Padres, and they're in the National League. Other than Will Myers I can't name a current Padre.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Guess who you just drew in the Know Thy Enemy pool.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Syndy needs to tie that hair back on windy spring days like today.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Synderella has gone two, giving up two walks and a hit, striking out one, with his workday looking like it's done.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 I should have set this on the DVR. I suck.

Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 I just looked up and it's now 9-3, as Number 83 is giving up some runs.
dinosaur jesus Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Hey, Gary Apple. Nobody wants to hear your Bob Costas stories.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Josh Edgin gives up a run in his inning of work, as our lefty bullpenners continue to struggle. That's probably due in part to them not getting matched up as benevolently as they do in the regular season.Kevin McGowan gave up two more runs in his inning, and his ERA actually went down.
Zach Thornton Syracuse Mets - AAA LHP On Sunday, the southpaw tossed five shutout innings as the bulk pitcher. He gave up 2 hits, walked 2 and had 5 strikeouts. Explore Zach Thornton News >
