KEITH HUGHES1967: 2-8 as a Met after coming over from Boston; probably best remembered as a Phillie, I guess? Was a lot better against the Mets as a Phillie from 1962-64 than he was with us. A dozen different Mets had started in left field to that point in the season, could I name them all? All but one, it turned out. The one I missed was Andy Phillips. It had been maybe two months since Phillips cycled through Shea and I was annoyed I had forgotten him already (just as I'm annoyed I'm stumped at the moment on the ex-Oriole and the guy who stopped pitching after 1964, though I'm a little squishy on the pre-'69 stuff).
