Eight players tomorrow with 16 Met at-bats, each of whom got at least one hit.

Navarro and Remlinger each make cameos in "Piazza," which covers the years when Mike was rising in the west while the Mets were scuffling in the east before the two entities joined forces. A lot of these brief Mets are extra top of mind for me as a result.

1. 1962: 3-16 as a Met in April & May. For Topps collectors, he's the "first Met."
2. 1976-78: 2-16 in 82 games as a Met, his entire MLB career; traded to Texas for Dock Ellis.
3. 1985-89: 3-16 in 185 games as a Met, even getting some MVP support, before being traded and winning a ring.
4. 1993: 3-16 as a Met, all off the bench and as a defensive replacement in the outfield.
5. 1993-94: Drafted by the Mets in 1984, but was famously traded away and didn't make it back until 1993. 4-16 as a Met.
6. 1994: 1-16 as a Met, for two weeks in May.
7. 2010: 10-6, 3.61 in 53 games. 1-16 at the plate, getting a hit in his first major league AB.
8. 2016: 34th round draft pick in 2011; went 3-16 in 17 games (8 starts) last season.

Mike Bruhert was a previous answer in this quiz, and a one-year Met. So it's gotta be Bob Myrick.

4 sounds like Wayne Housie, who lined up on Opening Day to my utter surprise, as in "Who?"
