Went 1-22 at the plate.2. 1962: Was the 32nd pick in the expansion draft; went 3-22 and got traded in April.3. 1962-63: The second best Mets pitcher to come out of Yale. Went 1-22 at the plate.4. 1967: 0-for-22. (See #10.)5. 1975-77: Born in Fresno, but was no Seaver, either on the mound or at the plate, despite 6 hits in 22 AB. No relation to #6.6. 1975-76: 6-22 as a backup outfielder. No relation to #5.7. 1978: 5-22 after coming over as a PTBNL in a huge trade; traded away in May.8. 1979: 0-22 with 17 strikeouts, 4-5, 3.70 on the mound. Mostly remembered as an Angel.9. 1981: 4-22. Goes both ways. (NTTAWWT.)10. 2007: 3-for-22. (See #4.)11. 2013: 3-22, and probably BETTER at the plate than he was on the mound. What a disaster.12. 2013-15: 2-22 over 165 games with the Mets.

His brother had a much more successful career.2. 1993-95: Raced through the minor leagues until his 1993 debut; 3-for-21 in 37 games, then spent parts of three seasons in Oakland. Currently an assistant principal in Minisink Valley.3. 2002-03: 2-for-21 and is best known for giving up a big home run as a member of another organization.4. 2009-11: 1-for-21 at the plate after coming over midway through 2009.
