Hey, sorry about the obscure reference.

Beltran's walk up music as a Met was "El Esta Aqui". BG commented that he heard it as "Vanis Takee". Since then, it's become Carlos's unofficial nickname.

It's a favorite here at CPF. I heard that BG is trying to get someone to perform the song at this year's Cover Derby celebration but so far A-List performers have been shunning him.

Me and at least Rockin Doc didn't know what Vanis Takee meant. Now we have the origin story as well, which wasn't provided in the quiz thread. Other CPF slang decoded on that last page in that quiz thread ---- "avi".
