Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 We're gonna win and we're gonna win big. I like teams that win. Winning. Wins. Big wins. This is a team that wins.A hopefully rejuvenated Syndergaard goes up against some guy named Jake Arrieta.
Guest cooby Guests Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Cripes. Somebody post 25 times so we don't have to look at that!

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Grandyman in center. I'm OK with this if it supports the lineup that scores.Oh, and I might sat Walker for Flores, and sat Rivera for dArnaud.

I also would have liked to have seen Wilmer in the lineup tonight. So Lags is back to riding the pine? I don't see him platooning w/Conforto in right. So they will be playing musical OF'rs as opposed to a straight up position platoon?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 It's the only way to keep the four productive outfielders in action. If you can't physically move Cspedes to right, this is the best alternative.Conforto has four games of professional experience in right, but his mom was a swimmer, so don't expect him to sink, or something.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Nice to see Conforto back. Looking for a win and a healthy Noah Syndergaard.

SNY isn't blocked so I guess I really don't care.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Rizzo dives over the plate. Got to saw him off. Don't know why Matzy got caught with a change-up.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Nice catch of Heyward. How about that guy in the yellow jacket behind home plate?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Maybe the Cubs become the team that can't capitalize.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Hey, two runners on!(For Syndergaard!)
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 That's Reyes's 100th Met triple.[fimg=444:10qri63y]http://blogs.rep-am.com/off_the_record/files/2013/06/mets_piersalljpg620400.png[/fimg:10qri63y]
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Granderson didn't get anywhere near that second-inning double either, but he looks confident out there in center.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Very impressive outing for Thor tonight. Matz would have turned his situations into about 9 runs.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 first hard hit nonhomer for Walker since April.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Hit a catcher in the fingers and then try and bunt on him.Not particularly cool by Cabrera, but nice to see a Met looking for an edge.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Oh, de Aza, how you de Sucka at hitting de baseballa.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Terry should have used Kelly Johnson. Or the Bat Boy instead of de Aza. Does Sandy not want to admit a mistake so he keeps de Aza on the team?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Isn't this guy Strop the one Billy Squire wrote a song about?
