Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Hey, maybe Cabrera's feeling the heat. Whatever works.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Of all the things to complain about this season, Neil Walker is WAY down the list. And not exactly "Comtastic" on that play to throw out Dyson (who actually suxx)Meanwhile, if this game goes into extras (or even if it doesn't) we could be in trouble. Not only is the pen over-worked from yesterday but we're already down to just d'Arnaud on the bench.De Aza already in for Cespedes, Conforto for Reynolds, and Kelly farmed out for Verrett
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 All that talk about cruel scheduling is fine, Keith and Gary, but you're neglecting to mention that the double header has been all but eliminated over the last decades, when it was more or less the Sunday standard at the start of Keith's career.

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 How much money do they have to eat to rid themselves of De Aza?

soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 C'mon Cooby keep up. I figured that out all the way back when they were in the 5th.
Guest cooby Guests Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Glad I'm not the only one/I wondered why this thread kept getting posts, so I looked at it.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Solid win there. Now 4 wins out of the last 9 games against the Royals.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Books!I confess I was worried about this one!
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Gotta say - Familia is no Benitez.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Cool to see Cabrera make the last two plays. He's playing with a lot of cahnfidence.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Great game. With the Fishy RBI single off the bag, I thought we were done for. Reynolds 1st MLB kaBOOM? Niiiiice. I haven't seen it yet but I heard he also threw a nice peg to 2nd as well, but didn't get the guy. Again a very sound bullpen, and again happy I didn't have to see Bubblebutt.Cabrera has been amazin'. That's soooo crucial.
