He actually was spotting his pitches like Harvey used to.

Considering that, plus how bad Familia's been lately, how much Familia threw last night, and that the pitcher's slot isn't likely to come up in this inning ... I'd send Reed back out there for the 9th/save.

Campbell is very versatile. He's woefully inadequate at multiple positions.

Precisely why TC will not send Reed back out. He will almost assuredly send Familia out for the save. Regardless of how pitchers are doing, most managers will choose to win or lose with their closer.

oooof. I would have given Familia a breather today. I go to the school of "throw him back out there" but.... not today. Three bad ones in a row is too much to risk. But this is a one run game and TC feels you have to use him. I guess.

Well, it was the first time in a while he looked like vintage Harvey. Good crisp game, as Quintana was on point as well. And glad to see vintage Fammy also.

Due to weekend plans, I had gone without Mets baseball for over 36 hours! This was a good one to come back to.

Harvey looked multitudes better than any other outing this season to me.
