ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Missed nothing so far. Preakness was awesome.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Instead of nervous I'm excited. I'm not used to this.Reynolds PHing...to bunt?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 I wouldn't have done that (Reynolds bunting w/2 strikes) but it worked.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 I wouldn't have give Dabid the green light on 3-0 either ... but it worked!
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Good win for the good guys. But man, someone from the grounds crew is going to have to go out there and pick up every single one of those sunflower seeds tonight.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 What an interesting and exciting end to that game![fimg=200:19nrfd44]https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9FpJxbwQ8y0/UYQwge7c8xI/AAAAAAAAmVI/6sRE-8mUIzMGeuMWcH8G-tqxy7OBazT1wCCo/s640/DWCAfin.bmp[/fimg:19nrfd44]
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 David Wright's first walk-off hit in 10 years.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 David Wright has set a franchise record with his eighth career walk off hit. Also the ninth walk off RBI in David Wright's career, setting a new franchise record.I'm never gonna be able to keep track of all these records.

Do I wait for the newspaper tomorrow?Mets announce that Matt Harvey will pitch Tuesday against the Nationals on regular rest, not Monday.

His last Grand Slam might've been 10 years ago though.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 No TV coverage for me, as per usual on WPIX days, but listened to much of the game on XM/WFAN while shopping, driving, cooking, and then cleaning up after dinner, including the ending. Good stuff.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Are you always guaranteed the Mets feed on satellite or do you sometimes have to listen to the opponents announcers?

That's the usual method of listening, if I am at work (for weekday matinees) or here at the house (for the weekend games).
Guest cooby Guests Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 On XM? I have found it to be sometimes mets, sometimes opponents, sometime both (your choice)
